The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease's International Management Development Programme (IMDP) will have a training course on Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation on 10-14 October 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Course Title: Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation

Course Date: 10-14 October 2016

Course Prerequisite: Participants should have completed the Performance-Oriented Project Management course prior to registration for this course or have extensive professional experience in project management.

Who Should Attend: This course is designed for middle- to senior- level managers working in public health from national, provincial government or international agencies and NGOs who are responsible for project management, its various administrative aspects and donor communications for the implementation of health programmes.

Course Objective: This five-day course focuses on bringing in accountability of monitoring and evaluation for ensuring project completion on time within budgeted costs.

Participants will receive a 5% discount on the Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation course, if they attend both the Performance-Oriented Project Management course and the Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation course within an 18-month period.

Develop an understanding of the difference between monitoring, review and evaluation of programmes and projects

Develop different indicators for project monitoring and evaluation

Strengthen the processes of supervision to work more effectively and efficiently

Conduct and support an internal or external audit for the project

Accreditation: IMDP participants are eligible to earn continuing medical education (CMEs) and/or continuing education units (CEUs). The IMDP core courses are accredited both by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP). The IMDP Tobacco Control courses are accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

Course Fee: 1,650 USD

Residential package fee available at 2,250 USD (course fee + 600 USD for accommodation and breakfast).
